Main Street Bazaar this weekend

By Staff | Jan 15, 2020

Main Street will be the site of a community bazaar this Saturday as RV parks, homes and businesses along the Fort Myers Beach road participate in a buy, sell, trade and eat atmosphere.

There will be burgers, soups, pies, cookies, peppers, onions, coffee, sweets, clothes, tablecloths, kitchen items and more for sale, Jan. 18 organizer Sue Hobot said. “You can find some good deals,” she said.

The bazaar is scheduled to run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. rain or shine. The giant sale is an annual tradition along the road. Participants include Ebb Tide Park, Oyster Bay Park and Gulf Cove, Hobot said. Port Carlos Cove will have pies for sale in the clubhouse, she said. There is usually between 30 to 40 pies at the sale, she said.

The bazaar is not just about Main Street residents selling goods. Hobot said she uses it as an opportunity to buy items from people who come to visit as well. “Bring your stuff and I’ll buy your stuff,” Hobot said.

“Anything you can imagine we will have.”
