Registration open for upcoming Offshore Rodeo Fishing Tourney along FMB
Fish, beware. The fifth annual Offshore Rodeo Fishing Tournament will be making a splash in Southwest Florida the weekend of June 9 and 10.
A benefit for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida, the fishing tournament launches at 6 a.m. Saturday, June 10, from Salty Sam’s Marina, Fort Myers Beach. Anglers will spend the day catching a variety of species for a chance to hook the top prize and will enjoy their fresh catch for dinner compliments of Salty Sam’s. Attendees will also enjoy a silent auction, live music and award ceremony.
“The Offshore Rodeo Fishing Tournament has become one of the area’s most anticipated competitions,” said Jeff Miloff, event chair and Ronald McDonald House Charities board member. “We would love to see a team take home the $100,000 mystery fish prize this year!”
Angler registration is $250 per person and includes event participation and dinner, and one spectator admission that includes fresh catch dinner, beer and rum punch provided by Wicked Dolphin Rum entertainment and silent auction.
Additional spectator tickets are available for $25 per person. To register, visit RMHCSWFL.org. For more information, contact Jeff Miloff, Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group at 239-565-0831 or email email@example.com. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
Since 1996, more than 3,000 families from Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Glades and Hendry counties, as well as other states and countries, have found a “home away from home” at Ronald McDonald House in Fort Myers while their children are undergoing medical treatment at Golisano Children’s Hospital. Additional thousands are served by the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Program, Grants, RMHC Scholars Program and a Ronald McDonald Family Room, expected to open this month.
