Rolling out the Red Carpet: Bayside Estates hosts annual style show luncheon Friday
Be sure to don your finest red ensemble Friday, as Bayside Estates rolls out the red carpet to host its 15th annual fashion show and luncheon Feb. 21, from noon to 2 p.m., featuring the latest in styles, trends and accessories by the Razzle Dazzle boutique.
“It will be a real red carpet event,” said Carol Kalmar, co-chair of the event, with Karen Bertch, social director of the community. “Razzle Dazzle of Cape Coral will be sharing fashions and styles of the upcoming spring season fashion line, from sportswear to anything-wear.”
Eight models will be walking the runway during the luncheon, boasting a great selection of about 30 to 40 ensembles, all available at the style shop.
Music will be provided by a Razzle Dazzle DJ, and handsome tuxedo-ed gentlemen will be escorting the models up and down the stairs, as well as assisting and greeting guests throughout the style show.
Prior to the show, be sure to partake in the all-inclusive luncheon, featuring a chicken salad and fruit plate, petit fours and cheesecake for dessert, along with drinks provided, such as coffee, tea, refreshing mimosas and other champagne cocktails.
Door prizes will be awarded throughout the event from various stores and restaurants, including gift certificates, jewelry and handbags, as well as a very special table prize for each table that day. Razzle Dazzle will also most likely have a very special offer during the luncheon.
“Bayside Estates always shops at Razzle Dazzle, and we look forward to all of their beautiful and unique clothing during the style show,” Carol eagerly stated. “We usually have about 200 to 225 people who attend. It’s a fun afternoon, and all are welcome to join and participate.”
Carol said Betty Boxma, chair of the models, has been doing a great job readying the girls for the next fashion show, and Jan Adams, Mary Kay consultant, is providing all of the makeup that afternoon.
Lunch begins at noon, the style show starts strutting the runway at 1 p.m. The cost to participate in the all-inclusive luncheon is $15. Contributions help support the Bayside community.
“These shows always end up being red carpet events, and all are encouraged to wear their red Friday,” Carol concluded. Reservations to the style show are necessary to participate. Call Carol Kalmar, 239-415-4485, to reserve your seat(s) for Friday.
