Pet Pals: Sweet Pea and Cali need homes
Sweet Pea is a sweet, gentle cat, about 2 years old. She is a lap cat, can be held like a baby and is quiet, not meowing very much. She loves to play with her toys. All tests have been done and came back healthy. She has her claws, enjoys her scratching post and is well-trained with kitty litter. She looks like a mix of calico/brown-grey tiger domestic short hair. She has a bob of a tail and currently at Pet Smart, but not doing very well, as she doesn’t do well in a cage. So, please, if you have a little room for her, she would love you forever. She would be better if she would be the only little one at home only wanting your attention!
Our readers have been very kind with our senior pets, and we are so very thankful for that, so here is an other little one who needs a home after she lost her mom. Cali is a female calico, approximately 8 years old. She is a very loving cat, is okay with dogs, but does not get along with other cats. She is with the daughter of the lady who passed away and she is hiding all the time, due to the other cats. She is very affectionate when she is by herself and needs a sweet home of her own. Please call us today!
Our upcoming events
Stop by Santini Marini Plaza Saturday, April 14, for the Smokin’ in the Mangroves BBQ Rib Cook-off. We will have, of course, our monthly raffle and again some great prizes and cats and dogs for adoption.
Also coming up is Sand Bash, at the Holiday Inn April 27 to 29. We’ll be there with some great pets to meet and some fantastic prizes for our largest raffle ever including hotel stays, boat rentals, gift certificates and more.
Come enjoy some great food, some sand and sun, and give a little to make a difference in a life of a little one. We would like to thank all the great restaurants who are participating in this events and all the other businesses. Please let them know without their generosity and yours, we wouldn’t be able to save so many lives!
Looking for a Good Samaritan
The Find A Home Give A Home Beach rescue is on quest for a Good Samaritan who would either allow us to have a room in their home dedicated to saving the pets or could donate a home on the island for the rescue’s use. We understand it is a lot to ask, but we hope that one of our wonderful residents will be kind enough to help the helpless, homeless animal world, and is ready to make a difference!
Thanks, from the bottom of our hearts!
