Resident not happy with Times Square act
To the editor:
It is a shame that Mr. Chesser or Ms. Stewart and friends (letters in March 9 issue) have no respect for anyone’s religion. To me that is not a wonderful comic at Times Square.
My husband (who works for the IRS) has wondered how much income tax this wonderful couple pays. Maybe this needs to be looked into. Servers have to pay taxes on tips.
I have to agree with the first letter (Times Square act upsets snowbirds/Feb. 23 issue). I do not see anything funny about a man degrading a lady like he does. His music is so loud at night that we have quit eating at the square.
I may be one that you think should be at Shell Point. At least we would get good entertainment.
We used to have good entertainment at the square until the man in question ran them off by not sharing the main spot.
It was my understanding that the town marked places for the entertainers to stand. We think he takes up a lot more space than he is supposed to. No one has room to move around.
Is this responsible and respectful? No thank you.
