The following are restaurant awards given out at the 14th annual Taste of the Beach:

>Best soup or chowder- Dixie Seafood Company’s seafood bisque

>Best beef dish- Bayfront Bistro’s marinated beef

>Best chicken or gator dish- Yucatan Beach Stand’s chicken tortellini

>Best crab dish- (tie)Fish House crab cakes; Sandy Parrot Tiki Bar & Grill’s tiki rolls

>Best fish dish- Bayfront Bistro’s seared grouper with brown butter and scalloped potatoes

>Best pork dish- The Sandy Butler’s pork tenderloin

>Best pizza/flatbread- Parrot Key Caribbean Grill’s beef flatbread

>Best shrimp dish- Margarita shrimp- JoJo’s at the Beach at the Pink Shell Resort

>Best dessert- The Sandy Butler’s flourless chocolate cake
