Chamber accepting applications for Leadership program
The Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral now accepting applications for the 2009 Leadership Cape Coral Program. This annual program began in 1993 to educate community members about Cape Coral and Southwest Florida. The 13-week program has graduated more than 400 students during its 16-year history.
The Chamber believes that effective Leadership is a key element in any successful community. Continually developing and encouraging the participation of new leaders is essential in developing fresh ideas and
perspectives while ensuring a continuity of leaders for the future. The leadership values we practice are integrity, service, unity of purpose and being responsible.
Today, chamber leadership graduates hold leadership roles in government at the city, county and state levels as well as community organizations like the American Cancer Society, Easter Seals, Good Wheels, Cape Coral Community Foundation and Junior Achievement.
Featured leadership days include: Team Building Day, Public Safety Day, Healthcare Day, Education Day, Infrastructure Day, Made In Cape Coral Day, Real Estate/Construction Day, Industry Appreciate Day, Media Day, Sheriff’s Day, Mosquito Control Day, City Government Day and Art & Entertainment Day.
