PHOTO PROVIDED Pictured are Rich Pollock, SAL commander #274; Lew Tollison, commander VCA#1; Stan Johnson, commander American Legion #274; Bob Gleisle, past American Legion commander; Dale Mangione, commander of VFW Post #10097; and a lifesize cut out of Lil Bette Wade in the foreground.

Bette and Don Wade’s 16th annual memorial golf tournament raised $11,000 this year, and in conjunction with their efforts, the FMB American Legion has matched those funds.

The Sons Of American Legion (SAL) #274 donated $5,500, as well as FMB American Legion Post #274.

The committee for the Bette and Don Wade Golf Tournament proudly presented the check for $22,000 to the local V.A. clinic, Wednesday, May 20. They extend thanks to everyone who donated prizes, sponsored holes, worked on any committee or just outright gave monies. The VFW #10097 donated its kitchen and all facilities for various fund-raisers to help make this a super year. All was greatly appreciated.
