Congressman Connie Mack, FL-14, will present two service medals and a high school diploma to three Southwest Florida veterans and their families on Monday, May 18, at 9 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the Lee County Administration Building, located at 2115 Second Street in Fort Myers.
Mack will present the Purple Heart to the family of P.O.W. Ralph Fringeli, who died in captivity during the Korean War. Mack also will present the Bronze Star medal to Hurbert Nerenberg of Fort Myers, a World War II veteran. Finally, Mack will award Lucien Pelletier of Fort Myers his high school diploma. Pelletier joined the Army before finishing high school to fight in World War II.
