Sun Splash Family Waterpark will be open after hours on Saturday, May 9, for “Family Fun Night.” Families can enjoy an evening of slides, pools, music and fun from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. for $5 per person (parking not included). This is the first Family Night of the 2009 season.
Special activities for the evening include live music, roaming entertainment, food specials and prize drawings. The Cape Coral Police Department will have a booth at the event, and officers will provide free child identification kits and information as part of “Take 25,” a National Child Safety Campaign.
Sun Splash offers 14 acres of slides, tubes and attractions, including Sun Splash’s three new speed slides. The waterpark is currently open four days a week through June 14. Regular hours are 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The park also will be open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Memorial Day, May 25. Sun Splash will begin the daily summer operating schedule Monday, June 15, when the park will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
