Golfers needed for benefit

Golfers are needed at the 16th annual Don Wade Golf Tournament at Cross Creek Country Club Saturday, May 9.

All proceeds for the tournament go to the local Veteran Administration clinic.

After play, there will be a luncheon featuring prize giveaways at the American Legion Post 274 at 899 Buttonwood Dr.

A $50 fee which includes the tournament, luncheon and prizes can be paid at the VFW on Pine Ridge Raod or the VCA on San Carlos Island.

The events are sponsored by the Don Wade Committee in memory of “Lil Bette” Wade.
