Laughin’ it up at Bobby’s Roast Beef
Looking to get a good laugh in on a Thursday night? If you’re not into just hanging around your house watching “Friends” reruns, head on down to Bobby’s Roast Beef (118 Crescent St.) every Thursday for Comedy Night, beginning around 8 p.m.
Every week, Bobby’s introduces some live comedians from near and far, many who have entertained around the world. There’s always an emcee, who’ll do a little skit, followed by the headliner.
Enjoy a different headliner every week, along with new emcees.
“We’ve had some good talents,” said Johnny Mimmo, co-owner of Bobby’s Roast Beef. “Last week’s headliner was a ventriloquist by the name of Peter Hefty, and his sidekick, Justin.”
Johnny said each headliner entertains with about 45 minutes worth of material, and with the feature act throwing in 15 to 20 minutes, you’ll have a full hour to laugh your head off.
“Actually, we’ve had some nights where three or four comedians have come up to do skits,” Johnny said.
The cost to attend Comedy Night is $10 per person, which includes two free drinks that evening.
