Fort Myers police are investigating a report that a man exposed himself to a 9-year-old child riding her bike near
Edison Avenue and Heitman Avenue today.
The girl told officers a man driving a four-door, silver car pulled up next to her and exposed himself, officials said this evening. She ran home and told her mother who called police. The girl described the suspect as white, about 35years old with brown hair. He was wearing blue athletic shorts, a gray T-shirt and black sunglasses. This is the first report of its type that police have received in the area. Officials ask parents to teach or remind their children about stranger dangers.
