Armed robbery suspect sought

Authorities are looking for man who held up a North Fort Myers gas station at gunpoint this morning.
Deputies were called to the Sunoco Station at 8671 Littleton Rd. at 11:54 a.m. after receiving a complaint of an armed robbery at the store. The cashier told investigators the gunman stated “this is robbery”, brandished a black colored pistol, and demanded money. He then then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
Ground units were assisted by air support and K-9 units. Despite an extensive search, the suspect remains at large. No one was injured in this incident.
The man is described a fair skinned white male 30-40 years old with a sandy or blondish colored beard. He was wearing a white to light gray T-shirt, a white baseball cap and some type of glasses at the time of the robbery.
No other information was released.
