Ready to rock EVEN HARDER!
With just two weeks remaining until Staind and friends head to SWFL to rock the stage of the City of Palms Park during the annual LiveX concert, wild shenanigans are taking place, as the rock world’s so well-known for.
Aside from thrashing around to such huge hits as Staind, Chevelle, Madina Lake and Cavo, three other groups have been added to the venue including Nonpoint and our very own boys of Cinder and Ekotren!
That’s right folks. For $35, you can jam out live with seven count them SEVEN slammin’ rock groups. Read on to find out where you can get tickets, and to check out the official rules and regs.
Staind
Staind is no stranger to the streets of Fort Myers, and their show Saturday, April 11 is no different.
First hitting the stages of the public eye in 1995, Aaron Lewis and his band won over the hearts of fans with the repeated success of their albums, “Tormented,” “Dysfunction,” “14 Shades of Grey,” “Chapter V” and “The Illusion of Progress.”
With such great hits as “Mudshovel,” “Home,” “It’s Been Awhile,” “Outside,” “So Far Away” and “Believe,” Aaron and Staind have a way of pouring their heart and soul into their music without sounding too whiney in the process. Visit Staind.com for the group’s official Web site.
Chevelle
Chevelle’s another group that formed in 1995, but really didn’t start attracting the attention from their hard-rock fans until about 2003 when their single “The Red” (from their “Wonder What’s Next” album) was released. It was a smash hit, reaching as high as No. 3 on the rock charts.
Chevelle really cemented their success with their next two hits, “Closure” and “Send the Pain Below,” both reaching No. 1 on numerous charts. The band was truly born.
Visit the official Chevelle Web site at ChevelleInc.com.
Madina Lake
Madina Lake is a pretty new band when compared to the other two big guys on the bill. But, what they lack in age, they make up for in rock skills.
With a hard edge but soft demeanor, the Illinois boys of Madina Lake carry the vocal and the musical talent that will surely take them to the top.
In their debut album, “From Them, Through Us, to You,” the group’s music provides an outlet for their views on politics, culture and the media’s obsession with celebrity status. This is def a group to watch in the coming years. Visit MadinaLake.com.
