Everblades fans support Uncommon Friends Foundation
Florida Everblades hockey fans have the opportunity to not only attend the final home game of the season but also support the Uncommon Friends Foundation.
The foundation has a block of 300 tickets available for the Saturday, April 4, game against the Mississippi Sea Wolves. The Everblades have secured a place in the play offs and this is an opportunity for fans to recognize their achievement.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. game at Germain Arena are $15. Individuals who already have tickets for the game can support the Uncommon Friends Foundation by purchasing raffle tickets for a Fun Everblades Play Off Package at the arena that evening.
Tickets for the game must be purchased from the Foundation by April 1 and may be obtained by calling 337-9505 or going online at www.uncommonfriends.org. Raffle tickets are also available.
The Uncommon Friends Foundation, established in 1993, is a character education foundation whose mission is to instill ethics, moral values and a sense of purpose in tomorrow’s leaders. The foundation is dedicated to enriching society by promoting the positive values author James D. Newton discovered in five unique men and their wives-Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Harvey Firestone, Dr. Alexis Carrel, and Charles Lindbergh-intellectual giants who helped shape the 20th Century. The non-profit foundation is a joint venture among Lee County, the City of Fort Myers, and The School District of Lee County.
