CCPD continues search for alleged pharmacy robber
Cape Coral police continued their search Monday for a man who reportedly robbed a local pharmacy last week.
The man is about 40 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 150 pounds, according to city spokesperson Connie Barron. He was last seen wearing a light colored T-shirt, brownish gold pants and a dark colored baseball cap.
The man does not have an accent, according to witness accounts.
The robbery occurred at 10:15 a.m. Friday at the Walgreens at 905 Cape Coral Parkway, according to Barron. The man may have stolen prescription medication.
The store was previously targeted twice by robbers within the past couple of months, she added.
Police were provided a composite sketch from a witness of Friday’s alleged robbery.
Anyone with information about the robbery is encouraged to call the Cape Coral Police Department at 574-3223 or Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS (8477).
