Lee County Emergency Medical Services added eight credentialed paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians to its division through their successful completion of the agency’s field training program.
Recently credentialed paramedics include:
— Jim Nunez of Cape Coral
— Scott Phillips of Palm Harbor
— Chris Martin of Fort Myers
— Nichole Libretto of Cape Coral

Recently credentialed EMTs include:
— Hernan Segovia of Cape Coral
— Michael Turano of North Port
— Brad Cohan of North Fort Myers
— Guido Santangelo of Fort Myers

Each paramedic and EMT that Lee County hires is required to participate in a two-week orientation and complete a field training program. Upon completion of the field training program, recruits are required to pass a test before an internal credentialing board which includes the EMS medical director.
