Police arrest student in bomb threat incident

A Lehigh Acres teen has been charged in connection with a bomb threat made to the Alternative Learning Center this morning.
Lee County 911 received the call at 10 a.m. in reference to a bomb threat at school at 3650 Michigan Avenue.
The school was evacuated and during the evacuation a second bomb threat was placed to the Fort Myers Police Department 911 Call Center.
Nothing suspicious was found during a thorough search of the building so the students returned to class.
During the investigation police received an anonymous tip naming the student who placed the call. Mark Droke, 16, of 4402 27th Street, Lehigh Acres) admitted he played a role in the calls, officials said.
Investigators were unable to determine if a second person was involved or their identity.
Droke was charged with making a false threat F.S.S 790.163.
