Cape police arrest four in Saturday robbery
Cape Coral police have arrested four suspects in the armed robbery of a woman Saturday at 4920 Chiquita Boulevard South.
The victim reported that one of the suspects jumped in her car when she exited her residence, and took her wallet and pills.
The suspects were apprehended at Southwest 47th Terrace and Southwest 17th Place. The gun used in the robbery was found inside the vehicle occupied by the suspects, officials said.
In addition to this incident, Cape police also are investigating two reported robberies that occurred between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. this morning. One occurred at a residence in the 400 block of Chiquita Boulevard, while the second occurred in the vicinity of Southwest 11th Avenue and Mohawk Parkway.
This investigation is ongoing, and more details will be released when available.
