Starting this evening, Nov. 25, at 9, and continuing until 5 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 26, crews will set steel bridge girders over of Immokalee Road at the I-75 overpass. This work will require the closure of Immokalee Road for about one hour beginning at 9 p.m.

The work is part of the ongoing iROX I-75 road widening project.

Motorists will not be permitted to make left turns from the northbound and southbound exit ramps at Immokalee Road and I-75 (#111), but right turns will be allowed.

Motorists traveling eastbound on Immokalee Road toward I-75 may take Livingston Road south to Vanderbilt Beach Drive, travel east on Vanderbilt Beach Road to Oakes Boulevard, and turn north on Oakes Boulevard to return to Immokalee Road. Motorists traveling westbound toward I-75 reverse this route and take Oakes Boulevard south to Vanderbilt Beach Road, travel east to Livingston Road, and the drive north to Immokalee Road.
