Three Cape Coral business employees have been issued notices to appear after allegedly selling alcohol to a person under age 21.

Two cashiers and a store owner were issued the notices Monday during a police sting operation involving school resource officers and an undercover high school law student, according to Cape Coral police spokesperson Dyan Lee.

The following individuals were reportedly caught selling alcohol to the undercover high schooler:

— Nancy Hernandez, 49, of 1407 S.E. 19th St., owner of Farm Store at 3914 S.E. Del Prado Blvd.

— Gregory Rodriguez-Perozo, 34, of 1150 S.E. 36th St., cashier of Food EZ Store at 825 S.E. Del Prado Blvd.

— Tiffany Thomas, 36, of 1326 S.E. Sixth St., cashier of Circle K at 2505 Santa Barbara Blvd.

The operation ran from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., with 10 businesses checked. Only three violations were noted, “which equates to a 70 percent compliance rate,” said Lee.
