Ann "Annie" Swartz, 71, of Fort Myers Beach FL passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs.

Annie was born on April 11, 1949 in Beloit WI. to Carl and Jean Swartz. She grew up there until she was 11 years old and then she moved to Switzerland with her family. She came back to Wisconsin for her senior year in high school. She moved to Florida and worked as a server in several restaurants on Fort Myers Beach and at Publix where she was a seafood specialist. Her customers loved receiving the recipes that Annie would hand out to them. She also worked at Santini Market after retiring from Publix in 2016.

Annie met her future husband, Mike in 1995. They did not get together until 2005 when she came to work in the seafood department at Publix where Mike was working. They started a courtship. They were married in 2010. They were inseparable since. They loved fishing on their boat, road trips, cooking and traveling thru out the Eastern United States.

Annie is survived by her husband, Mike Miller, cousins: Sherry (Pat) Monahan, Ryan (Liz) Monahan and boys Michael, Matthew and Joseph. Vicki King and Sean Monahan. Annie also had a countless number of loving friends in and around Fort Myers Beach and in other parts of the country that she always kept in touch with regularly.

A memorial will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to Hope Hospice, Joanne's House in Bonita Springs FL.
