Billie Lou Lacy
On January 9th, 2019, Morton Salt lost its biggest customer. Billie Lou Lacy born October 13, 1932 (86), left her favorite reclining chair just two days shy of her husband, Bob’s 12-year death anniversary. If you had the pleasure of knowing Billie- you knew that she’s been impatiently waiting to reunite with Bob ever since his passing. In 1976, Bob and Billie left Muddy Creek Road, Cincinnati, Ohio to come to an island they called paradise- Fort Myers Beach. While there, they bought and operated the Shrimp Box followed by Estero Island Hardware.
Billie leaves behind her most beloved singers, son Robin and wife Joani; her awesome caretaker and daughter Madelyn; her three weird but most cherished and loved grandchildren: Kyle, Ryan and Lacy; and one hell of a nacho dip recipe. At Billie’s request there will be no service, donations can be made on her behalf to the Fort Myers Beach Library, so they can enhance their Romance novel section. Life won’t be the same without you. See you later alligator.
