Tickets available for Tony Sands performance

By Staff | Jan 24, 2019

Tony Sands, who performs Frank Sinatra “Through the Years,” will be making a stop on Fort Myers Beach next month for a fundraiser at St. Rafael’s Episcopal Church.

Ross Miller said Sands plays videos of Sinatra singing, sings along with Sinatra, sings separately and does costume changes during his performance.

The performance will take place Saturday, Feb. 9, at St. Raphael’s Comfort Hall, 5601 Williams Drive. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A meet and greet will be held with Sands following the show, Miller said, allowing attendees to have their picture taken with Sands, as well as get his autograph.

The show is $35 and includes two drink tickets for soda, beer or wine. Those interested must call Laurie at (239) 463-1079 to make a reservation.

“Seating will be somewhat limited,” Miller said. “Reservations are required. Laurie can take credit cards, or checks. If we fill it up, we fill it up. We encourage people to call as soon as they can.”

In addition to the drinks, Italian style pastries and cookies will be available in honor of Frank Sinatra.

The event is being held as a fundraiser for the church’s outreach programs.

Comfort Hall, which was named after the Rev. Alex Comfort, underwent a renovation and just recently had the building dedicated and blessed by the bishop.

“Comfort has a dual meaning. It is a place of comfort, plus it is named in honor of him,” Miller said.
