More than 100 items lined the tables at Bonita Bill's Waterfront Cafe, waiting for someone to bet.

The Ostego Bay Foundation held its annual old-fashioned fish fry and silent fundraiser on Saturday. More than 100 items were donated by local businesses and residents to be auctioned off, and a portion of the funds from the fish fry meals was donated to the foundation as part of the fundraiser.

Foundation President Joanne Semmer said the final numbers are still being tallied, but the organization will break $4,000 raised. The funds will help pay for scholarships to the foundation's summer camps.

Local businesses and individuals donated items to auction off for the Ostego Bay Foundation fundraiser.

"That's awesome for us," Semmer said. "It took a lot of hard work and volunteer hours, and the generosity of our other community partners. It was wonderful."
