Beach Pub’s annual toy fund-raiser and memorial bike run Sunday

November 12, 2015

Keeping up with tradition, the folks of the Beach Pub, 1668 I St., are proud to host their very special holiday benefit for local children, with their 15th annual Toys for X-Mas toy- and fund-raiser, and 14th annual Patrick Stott Memorial Bike Run, hitting the road Sunday, Nov. 15, with poker-run sign-ups at 9 a.m., all bikes out by 10, and all-day benefit at the Pub starting at noon.

Throughout the day, whether or not you're going on the run, enjoy live music from Tommy V, Lucky Daizy, the John Allender Blues Band and Casey's Houserockers, along with lots of great food, drinks, raffles, prizes, 50/50s, silent auctions and so much more.

For those riding along on the bike run, the trips are always sure to get some wind in your hair and miles on your bike, taking some nice twists and turns throughout the county while helping raise funds and toys for the children of Fort Myers Beach.

The cost to participate in the run is $10 per poker hand, with all funds going to help island kids have a Christmas. And, as this is a toy-raiser as much as a fund-raiser, those attending the party are asked to please bring an unwrapped toy, which will be dispersed by the Fort Myers Beach Fire Dept., who then disperses them to beach kids who otherwise wouldn't have a Christmas.

Be sure to stop by the Beach Pub anytime Sunday for non-stop music, fun, and so much more. If anyone would like to make a donation either in the form of a toy for the toy drive, gift for the raffles and silent auctions, or monetarily, and you don't plan to attend the benefit, contact the Beach Pub and someone gladly pick them up for you. Call 239-765-6102.

For further information on the run or the benefit, or to make a contribution to the cause, either monetarily or in the form of a gift for the raffles/silent auctions, call the?Beach Pub, 1668 I St., at 239-765-6102.
