Last year, the benefit managed raise more than $7,000 for their local charities. This year, Pauline is hoping for an even greater turnout.

"This benefit started on the beach five years ago, and this is the second year we're hosting it at our club. It's continued to get bigger and bigger, and we're hoping this year's is the biggest turnout to date. All donations are tax deductible, and it's just going to be a great big beach bash barbecue, so all are welcome to come out, have fun and support our many great causes."

There is no cost to enter the BBQ benefit, and the benefit is open for everyone whether or not they are members of the club. For further information on the annual event, call 239-466-3177.
