Town offers half-priced trees

The Town of Fort Myers Beach is again offering half-priced quality trees to community and business members of Estero Island.

The featured trees are mahogany, live oak, green buttonwood, slash pine, gumbo limbo and wild tamarind. These great shade trees are available in three-, seven-, 15- and 25-gallon containers.

Also available for sale are Bahama strongbark, cocoplum (not available in 25 gallons), crape myrtle, fiddlewood, orange geiger, jatropha, satin leaf, seagrape, silver buttonwood, sweet acacia, pink trumpet, strangler fig, bismarckia palm, Canary Island date palm, Christmas palm, foxtail palm, Malayan coconut palm, paurotis palm and the royal palm (not available in 7 gallons).

The Tree City USA certified trees are supplied by All Native Garden Center in Fort Myers. The trees are all on sale now and will be ongoing. Prices vary for each tree and sizes.
