To the editor:
Merry Christmas & Happy New Years to each of you - our friends & supporters!
We have arrived at the season of festivities, family gatherings and gifts carefully selected for the ones we love. Decorations are carefully arranged inside and out. Sparkling color and lights are everywhere. Excited children anticipate Christmas Eve and the special day following, when they imagine their dreams will come true. Benjamen had his dream has come true. This is his first Christmas ever at The Gabriel House.
His legs are paralyzed.
This season marks the greatest gift given to mankind, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 12:46)
We wish to thank those who have given gifts to us, enabling The Gabriel House, to continue the ministry rescuing these special abandoned children. Your loving support of this ministry is never minimized in our thinking or taken for granted. It is you who make our Christmas shine with the hope that will carry us into a new year.
Support for the children is based on private donations. We do not accept State or Federal monies.
Currently, with our upside down economy, our income is down 55 percent. We do need your help!
Anne and I along with the Gabriel children, wish you the extraordinary blessings of Christmas! God bless you all!
Ed & Anne
