Shell Point to host 2011 holiday craft bazaar
The Shell Point Crafters Group will hold their annual Shell Point Holiday Craft Bazaar in the Woodlands Commons on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4 and 5, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Barbara Hilton, chairperson of the craft show, is pleased to welcome the public to view and purchase a variety of crafts, art, and jewelry created by the many talented artists at Shell Point.
The show will take place on the first and second floors of the Woodlands Commons, and will feature a large assortment of quality crafts for sale. All of the items are handmade by the residents of Shell Point, and include beautiful handbags, wood sculptures, pottery, pet outfits, toys, books, jewelry, cards, and more. Home decorations and baked goods will also be sold during the event. And after shopping, guests can visit one of Shell Point’s onsite restaurants to enjoy a light snack or a full lunch. Each venue offers varied menu selections at competitive prices.
Exciting door prizes will be available during this two-day event, with winners being selected for these prizes on both days of the event; attendees do not need to be present to win.
“The Holiday Craft Bazaar has gotten bigger every year, and we are so excited to offer such great items for purchase that you won’t find in a department store,” said Hilton. “The prices can’t be beat, and knowing that the residents put so much effort, work, and care into the creation of each item makes it even more unique. Anyone who attends is sure to be pleased.”
This event is free to the public. If you would like to receive additional information about the Bazaar, please call Melody Desilets at 454-2057.
