To the editor:
I've only been living on the Beach a few months, though I have visited here for years.
"Taxes are not being raised" appears to be Mayor Kiker and Manager Stewart's mantra, but it's claiming a falsehood. Residents and visitors pay for the 10 percent tax on electricity. We need a change in the Council.
The millage is up over 50% in the past four years. The Town isn't able to keep its business in order so it keeps trying to locate other sources of revenue to hide its mismanagement.
I say that enough is enough. Lower taxes!!!!!
