Alzheimer’s Memory Walk

The Alzheimer’s Association’s annual Memory Walk will take place Saturday, Nov. 21, at Centennial Park, 2000 W. First St., downtown Fort Myers. Pre-Walk activities will begin at 8 a.m., the walk begins at 9 a.m. Nearly 300 people are expected to participate in this year’s event to raise awareness and funds to fight the disease. The walk is held annually in hundreds of communities across the country, relying on volunteers of all ages to become champions in the fight against Alzheimer’s. Organizers of the event said participants in Memory Walks across the United States have raised more than $300 million.
